Weight is a big thing in America. We are known as the fatties. We are known for being very obese and loving our fast food. I am contributing to that trend as I have not lost my weight yet. There is no real reason why I haven't, I am just lazy. I will not use anything to help me out even though I have taken to reading Hydroxycut reviews on the internet. Whatever works right?
A lot of people see the new year as a fresh start. As something that everyone does they turn to New Year resolutions to get them through some of the problems they are facing. Such things as I will be healthier, lose weight, stop smoking, and all that jazz. I vow to get a href="http://www.anthem.com/">health plans that are good and not procrastinate. What is your new year resolution going to be?
This year my families Christmas lists are crazy! They all want expensive stuff. Including myself! Because of this high want prices I am putting what I truly wanted for Christmas on the back burner and getting it after the new year. Of course I have been wanting this since about July. Unfortunately that is the way things go. If I want to get Jamie his tattoo gun and my brother a Nightforce rifle scopes set then my wants are not that important.
Definitely there are signs that winter is here and coming at us. We had some snow yesterday morning and this morning it was freezing. Wait, I should rephrase that, this afternoon was freezing. I did not wake up until around noon and I have been working pretty much since then. Taking a few breaks here and there. I probably will not go to bed until early morning and start all over. Watch those Blackberry plants though with this weather. They are fragile to it and you may find them dead until next year!

Are you going to be traveling this season? Having some trouble thinking about what you are going to do in the middle of your travels? Perhaps when you are on the airplane, bus, train, or in the care you can listen to some audio books on your mp3 player. There are plenty of places that offer free audio books that will interest you a lot. It is definitely a good way to have something to do and appear super busy.
On the Internet, my name is Mia. I'm 25 years old, currently single, & I am the oldest of three children. My sisters are my best friends.
I'm a grad student, studying education and child psychology. This means that, although I don't ever plan to have kids, I feel qualified to tell you how to raise yours (Kidding! Mostly). I work at a non-profit adult literacy center. I love getting to combine the two things I love most in the world- teaching and computers. I live in a small town in the Bible Belt of the United States. I'm the liberal black sheep of my family, and one of the few geeks who lives around here.
I've dealt with ADD and clinical depression (that's the chemically imbalenced, non-sexy kind) for all of my adolescence and adult life. I may write about that, but I try not to be one of those bloggers. I'm quite grateful and happy that I'm alive, and plan to stay that way for as long as I can. Sylvia Plath and Ernest Hemmingway can bite me.
As everyone with a vanity blog or website knows, the most important thing about you is the music you pirate...er, listen to. I love classic rock, classical music, and mopey indie bands with lead singers who wear skinny jeans and Converse high-tops. If I'm awake, there's usually music blasting from my computer or record player.
I also read a lot and spend way too much money on books. Believe it or not, I actually don't watch that much television. I prefer movies, but my favorite shows are Buffy, The Simpsons, Life on Mars, and Mystery Science Theater 3000.

I have an undergraduate degree in Medieval Literature with minors in Comparative Religion and History. I tell people that I was only in these subjects for the money and glamour; sometimes, I'm not sure that they realize I'm being sarcastic.
I have a huge weakness for accents, especially English and Welsh.
I've lived in the South all my life, but don't have much of a southern accent. The southern drawl tends to creep into certain words, though. Especially when ah want something real bad, darlin'.
My goals after grad school include: joining the Peace Corps, writing a trash fantasy novel, really "getting" PHP and CSS, and starting an educational software company aimed at helping children with special needs.
I collect records from antique stores. I like the idea that someone else owned my records before me, and has fond memories related to these songs.
I can't stand celebrity gossip or women's magazines, and fail to understand how my female friends can read Cosmo without rolling their eyes
I don't really like video games that much. To me, playing a video game is like having your friend refuse to tell you the end of an interesting story until you solve a rubrix cube. If there's a story, just TELL ME! Don't make me battle orcs for it!
I've been making websites since I was thirteen.
